The government of Canada keeps making programs available for foreigners to take advantage of the immigration system. The Pilot programs give foreigners the opportunity of applying to jobs in different zones and professions in Canada which can’t be sourced locally with the ultimate aim of applicants becoming Permanent Residents. The different pilot programs include:

Atlantic Immigration Pilot:

The pilot helps employers in Atlantic Canada hire foreign skilled workers who want to immigrate to Atlantic Canada.

This route is a purely employer-driven program.

This program is targeted to the foreign immigrant; the employer can opt to employ an alien because the job or position couldn’t be filled locally.

But the applicant must have a receive job offer to be considered on this program for permanent residence.

Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot

This route is targeted at the foreign immigrants that are well skilled and are interested in migrating to rural and northern communities in Canada. So, it is a community-driven program.
